These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kiln Logger website and companion web service (the "Service") operated by Kiln Logger ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
Kiln Logger provides a web interface for monitoring and reviewing data logged by the Kiln Logger hardware device. The Service allows you to view temperature readings, manage firing history, and upload photos associated with your firings.
Your Account
You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at hello@kilnlogger.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes any third party's rights
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Your Content
You retain ownership of the firing data, photos, and notes you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it to you as part of operating the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose beyond providing the Service to you.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Kiln Logger does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. The Service is intended as a supplemental monitoring tool and should not be relied upon as the sole safeguard for any firing process.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kiln Logger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or damage to equipment. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Kiln Logger device.
Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
